Why not a black marker
We don’t paint over it. We make a new file.
A black box in a PDF often sits on top of the text, and the text is still there. In 2019 journalists read the hidden parts of a court filing by Paul Manafort’s lawyers simply by copying them. CutDoc builds a new file, and what you hid is not in it.
What CutDoc can’t promise
CutDoc can miss something, or flag a word you’d rather keep. That’s why you see everything it found before you save. Take a quick look at the new file before you send it. And if you need a legal opinion, ask a lawyer: the app doesn’t replace one.
